  • Postage and packing for domestic UK orders depends on the weight of the parcel.

    Light letter items (such as bookmarks) start from £1.50.

    Small parcels up to 2KG (£3.95 standard)

    Heavy items over 2KG+ (£6.95, sent by courier) 

    Weight of orders will be calculated at checkout.

  • Yes, we can ship to *most places overseas (*some exclusions may apply).

    Postage and packing costs depend on the weight of your order and your location. This will be calculated when you checkout.

  • As long as products are in stock, it's estimated about 3-5 working days (Mon-Fri) for UK delivery. During busy times such as Christmas or bank holidays, it might take slightly longer.

    Delivery for ‘Special Order’ books will take an estimated 7-14 days.

  • Delivery time overseas will vary depending on your location and the operations of the postal service; and could take between 14-30 days.

    Ordering books marked as ‘Special Order’ will obviously take slightly longer as these have to be ordered in.

  • For pre-order items, you can either purchase online from Waterstones, or directly from us on our website.

    If you order from our website, payment will be processed and taken at checkout as a normal order.

    We will ship the pre-ordered items to you either on release day or as close to it as possible. Release day details will be stated within the listing. Ordering directly from us is the fastest way of receiving books.

    We have no control over pre-orders ordered from Waterstones.

  • Our website accepts payments via Stripe and Paypal. They will enable you to purchase using credit and debit cards or the balance from your account.

  • In the event that your parcel is delayed by the post office/courier, please allow up to 7-10 days before contacting us. Usually parcels will turn up in that time. If it hasn't, contact us via our contact form and we will do our best to assist you.

    Please note: We are not responsible for any customs fees.

    Any customs charges, import duties and taxes that has to be paid is the responsibility of the buyer.

  • If you wish to return your order l for whatever reason, please contact us first for a return agreement via our contact form within 14 days from date of parcel received (untraceable orders which arrive back to us will not be refunded). Please ensure that your items are sent back to us in a resaleable condition (unread, in its original packaging and your dispatch note included.)

    Buyer is responsible for return postage (non-refundable).

    Please note: the products sold in our “Book Clearance / Sale” section, are sold at a discount due to imperfections or damage on the item. This is stated within each listing. Buyers purchase these at their own knowledge and risk, and the item(s) are non-refundable.

  • Our books are available online as well as in physical bricks-and-mortar bookshops. They’re usually placed in the local interest or history sections. If you can’t find a particular title, ask a member of staff at the store, they will be able to order it in for you if it’s out of stock.

  • Even though we are based in Liverpool, we are an online business so you wouldn’t be able to come and visit us. We tend to use email as a main correspondence as we work with authors and writers from different parts of the UK.

    Some of the authors we work with or who live locally in Liverpool might still want to meet us, but it would have to be pre-arranged.

    We do have a registered office address where you can post or drop off your manuscript if needed, but it has to be pre-arranged with us first.
